I was alerted to this by a Local Councillor.

Info may be found here

Forest Farm will be known to many of you as the "Farm Shop" and there is occasionally a Circus in the adjoining field.

The "official" music will finish at 10 p.m. on the Saturday (18th. June) and at 9 p.m. on the Sunday (19th.). There is a rumour of "extended entertainment" i.e. a "Rave", allegedly taking place overnight on the Friday and Saturday at a "secret" venue.

The Campsite will be open from 3 p.m. Friday 17th. (until Monday a.m. 20th.)

Key questions for local residents would seem to be:

What is the impact on public transport, traffic and parking of 15,000 people entering and leaving the area over two days?.

Where is the "nearby off-site car park" for the park-and-ride shuttle bus to the site?

From what distance will it be possible to hear this event?

  1. Complaints about night noise should be made to the Council's out of hours noise service by telephoning 020-8478 4679.

  2. This seems to be a major event and must have taken some planning.
I suppose the car park at Fairlop Waters will be full. Now,if the campers are leaving their cars there overnight, they will have to get up promptly the following morning because I understand you must pay as early as 7am, even at week-end.
Perhaps the tickets for the event will include a parking permit.
ps: perhaps the local residents will be provided with offers of ear-plugs or free week-end breaks!
