ReplyDeleteThe replica Spitfire was a beaut. Loads of kids were there learning about their heritage. An ex-Lanc pilot was there with his medals.
Lee Scott MP is going to start off an appeal fund for Fairlop to have its own "Gateguard" - a replica aircraft. Around £50,000 will be required, which is not a huge sum for the good folk of Redbridge - all you need is 5,000 people with a spare tenner - no problem!
