It Gets Worse

Now that they have killed the main Forum on Red-i they have now killed "Ask My Neighbour".

This feature is no longer borough wide. You have to log in to see it and you only see questions from within 1Km. Link

That's it. I've had enough of this nonsense.

I have left the building. I suggest you do the same.

Let them wallow in their own incompetence. Let them talk to themselves.

  1. What exactly is the point of limiting it to 1km I ask?! Shouldn't every resident in Redbridge be able to respond to each other's questions.

  2. The point is that because some people say things "they" don't like, they attempt to stop anybody saying anything.
    It's called "CONTROL FREAKERY".

  3. This is extremely annoying as the whole point of my question was so that EVERYBODY in Redbridge could read it. Couldn't they just hold fire till March at least?

Ho-hum, have to get the thinking cap back on again...

  4. This is exactly my point, which I made on the Redbridge-i forum myself a few days ago. They published my post.

Waste of time if you ask me!

We really do need a forum run for all residents of Redbridge!

  5. I just had a look at the forum and the latest post is a cocorico (wrong sex I think, but who cares!) of the redimanager who is so happy she has managed to silence us all.
Silent night, silent day, we in Redbridge know our place.

  9. That is just rediculous! What is the point? we're all trapped inside our own little bubbles as far as the Redbridge-i website is concerned.

I've a mind to get a forum up and running myself. A proper forum!

  10. Yeah, I'm tinkering with phpbb as we speak. Just to see how easy it might or might not be. Are you into this sort of thing Weggis?

  11. Mark must be a linguist: rediculous is now the middle name for redbrigei!
Me, I have just remembered my old maths days and that funny idea of Venn diagrams. All these little circles will have to overlap if they are to cover the whole area. So, some people share a neighbour without being neighbours themselves.
    Now, that's logical!
Next, I could be poetic and think of daisy chains!
